Florence Carr-Jones’s direction is perfectly judged.
Clive Davis, The Times, 2025
★★★★★
Florence (she/her) is theatre director based in London.
She is drawn to bold, boundary-pushing work that leaves audiences fizzing. Her projects span a wide range of forms and genres, all united by a sense of urgency - a need to be alive and experienced directly.
Her work has been shaped by years immersed in Fringe and international theatre while living in Edinburgh, along with her training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she honed her craft on the Directing MA. Led by instinct and intentionality, her practice places particular emphasis on movement, musicality and the rules of a space.
