Florence Carr-Jones’s direction is perfectly judged.

★★★★★
Florence (she/her) is a theatre writer and director based in London.
She is drawn to bold, boundary-pushing work that leaves audiences feeling fizzy. Her projects span a wide range of forms and genres, all united by a sense of urgency - a need to be alive and experienced directly.
Her work has been shaped by years immersed in Fringe and international theatre while living in Edinburgh, along with her training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she honed her craft on the Directing MA. Led by instinct and intentionality, her practice places particular emphasis on movement, musicality and the rules of a space.

'Carr-Jones has directed with a comic precision that walks right up to the line of being too much without putting a toe over.'
